Duniverse Wiki (“the app,” “we,” “us”) is developed by Gotham Forge. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it’s used, and your choices. It applies only to Duniverse Wiki, not to any third-party site you may reach through links in the app.
Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and password. Passwords are never stored in plain text — they’re hashed before being saved.
Search and usage activity. The topics you search for are recorded so the app can show “Trending” and “Top 10 Searches” lists. If you’re signed in, articles you’re the first to discover are recorded against your account to track your discovery history and points.
Information stored only on your device. Bookmarked articles and cached article content are saved locally on your device using Apple’s on-device storage. This data is never sent to us and stays on your device unless you delete the app or clear its data.
Advertising data. This app shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, general location (such as country or region), and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads. On iOS, AdMob only accesses your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) if you grant permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt — you can decline this, and the app will still work normally with less personalized ads. This data is collected and processed by Google, not directly by us. See Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses data when you use our partners’ sites or apps for details.
Push notifications. If you opt in, we ask for permission to notify you when a topic you searched for finishes being generated. As of this version, no data leaves your device to enable this — it’s a local permission only.
We don’t access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or precise location.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Account and search-history data is retained while your account exists. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at the email below — this app does not yet have an in-app account-deletion option.
This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
